Giovanni Arcuri

Giovanni Arcuri is General Director of the Ospedale Isola Tiberina – Gemelli Isola in Rome, appointed in July 2025. A biomedical engineer specialised in clinical engineering with more than 20 years in healthcare management, he previously served as Director of Technology, ICT and Innovation at the Fondazione Policlinico Universitario Agostino Gemelli IRCCS and headed clinical engineering units in the Emilia-Romagna health system. He has lectured on medical informatics and telemedicine at the University of Bologna and works on health technology assessment and the sustainable adoption of AI in hospitals.
