Accessibility statement
We want every attendee of the D4 Summit 2026 to be able to use this app. This statement is a voluntary commitment — LabMed Alliance Inc. is not a public-sector body and is therefore not covered by the EU Web Accessibility Directive, but we hold ourselves to its standard anyway.
Conformance status
We aim for Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. Some parts of the app do not yet meet that standard — they are listed under "known limitations" below.
What we have done
- Mobile-first responsive layout (works from 320 px upwards).
- Sufficient colour contrast for text and interactive elements.
- Touch targets of at least 44 × 44 px.
- Forms with explicit labels and
aria-labelon icon-only buttons. - Standard semantic HTML (headings, lists, landmarks).
- Sticky top bar and bottom navigation accessible by keyboard.
- All content available in English and German.
Known limitations
- Some Markdown-rendered content (speaker bios, sponsor highlights) is authored by third parties and may not always meet contrast or alt-text requirements.
- The floor plans are images with a visual booth marker; an accessible text-list alternative is on the roadmap.
