Licence — use it, adapt it, share alike
LMA Connect is free and open-source software, released under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 or later. (AGPL-3.0-or-later)
In short, you are free to:
- run the app for your own conference, commercially or not;
- study the source code, adapt it and build on it;
- pass it on, modified or unmodified.
On these conditions:
- Share alike — anything you build on it must be released under the same licence.
- Also when you only host it — if you run a modified version as a service, you have to offer your users its source code (AGPL §13). That is what makes this licence different from the plain GPL.
- Keep the attribution — leave the copyright notices and this page in place, and state what you changed. You may of course add yourself to the credits.
- No warranty — the software comes as is.
Read the full licence text — it also ships with the source, in the LICENSE file.

The licence covers the software. Everything an organizer maintains in it — programme, texts, logos, images, abstracts, trademarks and the event brand — belongs to that organizer and is not covered by it.
