Brendan Meyer, PhD, is Medical Affairs Director EMEA at Becton Dickinson (BD) in the Specimen Management business. He has worked in BD's medical affairs organisation since 2017, rising from Senior Manager to Associate Director Medical Affairs EMEA. He is active in the IFCC, including contributions on IFCC–industry partnership and committee membership since 2023. His focus is the preanalytical and specimen-management phase and the collaboration between industry and professional bodies in laboratory medicine.
